Sean Aereboe is Managing Director and head of Capta Invest. After completing a National Diploma in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, a Post-Graduate in Financial Planning (CFP™) and obtaining several financial planning certificates through the South African Institute of Financial Markets, Sean has spent the last two decades working as a financial advisor at some of South Africa's leading global financial institutions.

In 2011, Sean decided it was time to branch out on his own to open Exponential Wealth, an independent advisory firm offering niche local and offshore wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients. In 2016, Sean started collaborating with CAPTA Wealth on their structured note issuance and foreign exchange execution services. This relationship grew to the point where it eventually made sense to merge and join the CAPTA group of companies in 2021.

Over the years, Sean has also taken up the role of independent trustee on a number of discretionary trusts and currently sits and serves on the board of several private equity, education, energy and tech ed entities.

Sean prides himself on developing long-lasting relationships with clients by endeavouring to always be completely transparent and honest in his daily undertakings.

Outside of work, Sean is a family man who enjoys landscape design, golf, fishing and rugby.
